The Ape Hanger handlebar has been designed specifically for the BMW R 18 motorbike.Its length and height are proportional to the front fork for balanced proportions.
Unlike some other impractical handlebars, whose absurd shapes negatively affect handling and safety, this handlebar has been designed to provide safe handling and a comfortable seating position.The handlebar tips are ergonomically positioned for full control of the motorbike.
The distinctive handlebars are made from high-quality chrome-plated steel tubing, giving the Big Boxer motorbike a unique look. In addition, the instrument and indicator wires can be relocated to the handlebar tubes, making them invisible to the eye. Original weights can also be screwed into the handlebar ends, as internal threads are available.
In addition to the steering wheel itself, the delivery includes longer steel flexible cables for the clutch and brakes, a cable extension for the turn signals, as well as the necessary mounting materials.
Attention:To fit the steering wheel, the brake and clutch lines must be switched and then bled. In addition, holes must be drilled in the steering wheel for it to be fitted correctly. It is therefore recommended that it is fitted by a workshop specialised in this.
