With modern brakes on BMW motorbikes, the force applied to the pedal does not need to be high, but the small surface area of the pedal creates a risk of the sole of the shoe slipping.

This situation can occur if the shoe is sometimes muddy and slippery when riding off-tarmac or in the rain. This can already lead to a dangerous situation.

To prevent such situations, the brake pedal pad has been developed to enlarge its surface area. The pad's corrugated surface prevents the shoe from falling off.

The overlay is made of aluminium alloy with an anodised surface.

The assembly of the pedal overlay is very simple and takes a few minutes. Assembly parts and instructions are included.
