Sliding bearings are a remedy for the wearing out of the standard rocker arm needle bearing and eliminate the problems associated with rapid wear and difficult replacement of original BMW bearings.

The bearings have a lubrication point, so all you need to do is screw in special grease fittings (included when purchasing the bearings). After lubrication, screw in the screws that cover the lubrication hole.

That's all you need to do for periodic servicing - there is no need to dismantle any components.

The external sliding surfaces are made of AISI SAE 4140 alloy steel.
