The reinforcing strut serves as a connection between the engine protection gmols on the right and left sides. It runs in front of the alternator cover and is bolted directly to the gmols using the holes provided. The reinforcement has an insert with M8 threads. The necessary bolts and washers are included.
Thanks to the strut, the forces acting in the event of a fall are also transferred to both sides of the gmoli. This means that the compressive and tensile forces are shared between both sides. The forces acting on the engine through the reinforcement set are optimally distributed and serious damage can be avoided.
The reinforcement is made of the same material to match the stainless steel engine protection grommets. The stainless steel surface is sandblasted and powder-coated.
