The sporty concept of the Wunderlich engine protection rack combines maximum protection with low weight. The geometry of this element ensures that the engine, and in particular the water pump, clutch and alternator, and their housings, are optimally and reliably protected.
In addition to this comprehensive protection, we paid the utmost attention to ground clearance and tilt angle freedom during design and construction. This ensures that the two-piece, asymmetrical engine protection strip sits securely and its compact design provides the engine with additional stability and stiffness - all while minimizing the component's weight.
The rods for the left and right are screwed to the four selected mounting points. The momentum and forces created during a collision or fall are thus distributed at each of the four points on each side of the vehicle. This reduces load spikes. Installation is easy and does not require disassembly during maintenance work.
