In its original form, the footrest area of the brake lever is unfortunately rather small, which all too often poses a safety risk.

This foot brake lever extension works as an extension of the original foot brake lever. It just screws onto the lever.

Accidental slipping of the foot or failure of the lever and the associated "kicking empty air" becomes almost impossible in this way.

Carefully milled grooves provide protection against slipping on wet surfaces. The widening improves ergonomics and comfort, and thus increases passive safety.
