BMW's high-performance M-series and S-series motorcycle engine has an excellent power-to-weight ratio, which means it is lightweight and precisely designed for performance. Damage to the engine casing can make it impossible to continue riding, so the RACING protective slides provide optimal protection for the sides of the motorcycle, engine, clutch and other important components.
The protective sliders have been race tested and were developed in cooperation with Wunderlich MOTORSPORT. They are mounted on the right and left sides of the frame using solid mounts. On the left side, a 2-point rotation-resistant mount is used, and on the right side, an intricate adapter is used that has been milled to perfectly fit the contour of the engine.
Installation of the RACING skid pad does not require cutting the fairing, which protects it from damage. The protective pads provide protection against damage during sliding. In addition, the pads have damping properties and are resistant to abrasion.
