Engine crash bars reliably protect not only cylinders and valve covers, but also two lambda probes. In the event of the motorcycle overturning, the forces acting on the crash bars are evenly distributed to the support points through the structure of the crash bars.
The engine protection frame is made of a 25 mm stainless steel tube. Pipe segments are bent on CNC pipe bending machines. Crash bars were designed in such a way as to integrate with the motorcycle structure and emphasize its effective appearance.
Crash bars were made for the R 1250 GS HP-style motorcycle and kept in this color scheme.
The designers of these crash bars focused primarily on the protective functions, but also on the effective appearance. Therefore, the surface of the crash bars is sandblasted and electropolished.
