BING carburettor intake spigot - rubber coupler (N1) connecting the carburettor to the head.

The coupler fits BMW R100R and R100GS motorbikes fitted with a BING carburettor with a throat diameter of 40 mm.

Carburettor throat is the term for the through diameter of the carburettor visible when the throttle is lifted.

The throat diameter can be read off the carburettor body - the second number 40 - indicates a throat diameter of 40 mm.

Any other dimensions are irrelevant to the fit of this coupler.
