Wunderlich is offering the EXTREME trunk kit in an 80 mm (40 mm per side) narrower version, which - true to its name - still offers an impressive 71 liters of storage space compared to 85 liters in the normal EXTREME kit.
The manufacturers present the "EXTREME" as a lightweight, durable and stylish aluminum case that can be easily mounted on the trunk. The sleek shape of the trunks allows them to easily navigate crowded streets and not pose a danger to other road users.
Trunks are also useful in rough terrain, as it is more maneuverable. Modern expeditions require less preparation and less luggage, as many things such as tire repair kits and smartphones are now lighter.
"EXTREME" trunks are completely dustproof and waterproof thanks to a special sealing system. The use of high-quality materials and an aluminum plate with stabilizing hinges makes the trunks durable. They also have stainless steel fasteners, replaceable corner guards and protective lock covers.
The trunks' lids are equipped with luggage nets inside for easy access to the things you need while traveling. The lid can be removed by opening the hinged locks, allowing the trunks to be easily loaded from the top.
However, opening only one of the locks allows the lid to move like a hinge, held in place by a safety cable. The trunk has an anodized black construction, giving it a technical and sophisticated look.
Lockable cylinder locks are also available, which require only one key. The inserts are needed for trunks such as the top case. The number and number of inserts should be ordered according to your needs.
