BMW's GS-series motorcycle is one of the best on the market, but Wunderlich is always looking for further improvements and listening to customer feedback.
One issue that is often raised by customers is the GS's loud, low-frequency sound, especially at speeds between 80 and 130 km/h. After testing, a resonance chamber inside the trunks and rear wheel arch was identified as the source of the noise.
The sound pressure coming out of the exhaust system causes this chamber to resonate, which generates an annoying and stressful sound. This noise can be disturbing, causing distraction while driving.
